Some links on Explore Togean go to two booking services: Togean Cruise, for cruise bookings, and Togean Tickets, for ferry and transport tickets. We link to them where they're relevant to what a post is about, for example when a post covers the ferry between Ampana and Wakai.
Our relationship with these services
We want to be plain about how Explore Togean is connected to Togean Cruise and Togean Tickets. [TODO: confirm relationship wording]
Tracking on links
Links to Togean Cruise and Togean Tickets carry tracking parameters: extra text added to the end of the web address. They tell the booking site that you arrived from Explore Togean and which page you came from. As far as we're aware, they don't change the price you see [TODO: verify].
What this means for what we write
Our posts are written from our own trips, and the links don't decide what we say about boats, places to stay or anything else. Where we haven't been able to confirm a schedule or a price, we say so in the post rather than send you to a booking page to find out. If you'd rather not use the tracked links, you can search for either service directly.
